Human rights

We are a family-owned company, value-oriented action is part of our corporate culture. Worldwide, we expect our employees, customers and business partners to act responsibly, in compliance with the law and in a sustainable manner.

Jungheinrich is committed to respecting human rights. Human rights due diligence obligations are integrated into business processes both at our own sites and in our supply chains. To define our obligations, we are guided by international guidelines and standards such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises as well as the fundamental principles and rights at work of the International Labour Organization (ILO). In line with these guidelines, Jungheinrich commits its employees, customers and business partners worldwide to responsible, ethical and legally compliant conduct.

We have set out our basic stance and values in our Code of Conduct on Human Rights and Occupational Safety, and we provide information on our corporate due diligence obligations in the Declaration of Principles on Respect for Human Rights. For our suppliers, we have developed a Supplier Code that communicates our requirements and our understanding of values. The Supplier Code is part of our sustainable supply chain management: transparency and responsibility in our supply chain.

Complaints or tips about potential or actual human rights violations can be reported either anonymously via the so-called OpenLine or directly to Corporate Compliance, Audit & Data Protection via telephone and e-mail: Compliance or OpenLine
